The Buddha is carved from a single piece of jade and is one of the most holy and revered religious objects in Thailand. Afterwards enjoy an exhilarating boat ride along the bustling Chao Phraya River, and cruise through the quiet Klongs (canals) in a long-tail boat. Along the banks of the river is Wat Arun, the magnificent Temple of Dawn with its 259-foot pagoda built in the Khmer style. The afternoon is free to enjoy Bangkok on your own.
Head out of the city this morning for a half-day tour to the rural, yet world-famous, floating market of Damnern Saduak. Located 62 miles west of Bangkok, the market is bustling with activity from very early morning until about 11.00am. For those who want to buy some souvenirs, be mindful that you bargain!
Transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
