Day 1 - Athens – Arrival.

Arrive in Athens, the capital of Greece, and live your life-changing experience. Be met at Athens airport and transfer to the centre of the city.
Check into your hotel and have the rest of the day free to relax or stroll around the city.  Overnight in Athens.

Day 2 - Athens full day tour: Acropolis-Plaka- Athens Cathedral - Panagia Kapnikarea

Today have a full day tour of the city. With your Professional guide and coach, you’ll start with a panoramic drive of the town, and you’ll see the Panathenaic
stadium where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896 (short stop).
Continue and pass by the Prime Minister’s residence (Ex Royal Palace) guarded by the Evzones in their colorful uniform, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian’s
Arch, the Parliament and the memorial to the Uknown soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the Constitution Square (Syntagma).
Arrive in Acropolis and visit the Architectural Masterpieces of Golden Age of Athens: The propylea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally “the harmony between
material and spirit” the monument that “puts order in the mind”, the Parthenon.  See the Aeropagus (Mars Hill)where Apostle Paul took and preached about the truth
to the Gentile nation and then walk to the Ancient Agora, which was the center of political and public life in Ancient Athens. The agora was utilized for commerce, political,
religious and military activity and is where Apostle Paul met and spoke the Epicureans and Stoic Philosophers. Then continue with a short walk in Plaka area. 
See the “Church of Panagia Kapnikarea” an important Byzantine monument in Athens built in the 11th century, and then see the “Metropolitan Cathedral of Athens”,
built in 1862, in Mitropoleos steet. Then continue the walk and visit the Acropolis museum, and see some of the most important artifacts in antiquity! 
End of the tour and transfer to your hotel.  Overnight in Athens.

Day 3 - Full day to Aegina island: St. Nektarios Monastery-Temple of Aphaia.

Morning departure to Piraeus port to take the ferry boat to Aegina island.
Arrive in Aegina port and after a 6km drive, you’ll visit the Monastery of St. Nektarios, built around 1904-1910 by the bishop Pentapoleos Nektarios. He lived in the
monastery and died in 1920 and in 1961 he was declared as a Saint.  The monastery is dedicated to his memory and is the most important religious site of Aegina. 
Then continue and visit the archaeological site of “Temple of Aphaia”, one of the most well preserved temples in Greece, one of the 3 temples forming the famous
“Sacred Triangle” of Greek antiquity.  Return to port and take the ferry back to Athens. Arrive in Piraeus port and transfer to your hotel.  Overnight in Athens.

Day 4 - Full day tour to Evia island: Church of St. John the Russian & Monastery of Osios David.

After breakfast, departure for Evia through the bridge of Chalkis. Arrive in Prokopi area and visit the relic of St. John the Russian, a church dedicated to this Saint.
He was born in Russia in 1690, was a soldier in the army of Peter and was captured. He became famous and respected even by his officer, for his humility, steadiness
in faith and benevolence, and allowed him to be free to practice his faith. Then depart and drive North, and visit the famous male Monastery of  Osios David.
This male monastery is dedicated to Saint David built on a beautiful spot, near the foot of Mt. Kavalaris, and took its name after the great elder David, whose remains
along with his censer and robes are still housed within its walls. He established the original monastery in the 16th century, which was later burnt down during the
Greek revolution. The current building is what was rebuilt in 1877 and include catacombs as well as a small chapel built close by in a small cave nearby.
Then leave Evia and return back in Athens. Overnight in Athens.

Day 5 - Full day tour to Corinth: Monastery of Dafni - Osios Patapios Monastery- Loutraki-Ancient Corinth.

After breakfast, depart and drive towards Peloponese. On the way, stop fot a visit at the Dafni Monastery, declared a World Heritage site, in 1990 by UNESCO. After the 1999
earthquake in Athens, the monastery was damaged, and till now there are maintenance works still going on the inside. Now you’ll have access only to the court-yard to admire
the unique architecture. Continue the trip and on the way have a short photo stop at the Corinth Canal.  Then our next stop is the Monastery of Osios Patapios. Situated at
a 650-700m altitude, and walking up the 180 steep steps before entrance.  Osios Patapios came from Thebes, Egypt and is well known for the miracles that he did. This female
monastery which was first a cave was built to honor him and his holy relic is kept inside. Continue with a drive towards the city of Loutraki, a seaside area on the Gulf of Corinth,
well known for its vast natural springs and its therapeutic spas and have a short refreshing stop. Head towards Corinth and have a short stop to visit the Cathedral of Apostle Paul,
built by the Corinthians in his honor. Then arrive in the Ancient City and visit the archaeological site of Ancient Corinth.  Here under the shadow of the towering Acropolis, St. Paul preached and lived for 2 years. The Gentile church he founded here in 50 Ad caused him much grief and prompted him to write, four letters to them. Visit the ruins of the ancient city where Paul worked with the Aquila and Priscilla. See the remains of the first century shops, the agora where Paul's trial by Gallio took place, the Fountain or Pierene, Temple of Apollo
and the Bema, the public platform where St. Paul hat to plead his case when the Corinthians Hauled him up in front of the Roman governon Gallio in 52 AD. Continue with a visit of the Archaeological museum of Ancient Corinth, which contains a number of artifacts of religious interest, including inscriptions of Gallio and Erastus, both mentioned in the book of Acts.   Continue to visit Kehries the ancient port, where Apostle Paul had his hair cut to fulfil a vow. Return back to Athens and overnight.

Day 6 - Full day to Delphi: Osios Loucas Monastery & archaoligical site of Delphi.

In the morning depart towards Delphi, one of the national treasures of Greece and UNESCO’s world heritage monument.  Pass through Thebes, Levadia and Castalia Spring
and visit the famous archaeological site of Delphi.  There you’ll see the Athenian Treasury, the theatre, the Temple of Apollo famous for its oracle, the Naval of the Earth,
the Sacred Way. Then visit the Museum of Delphi with it’s spectacular finds, and see the Bronze Charioteer, the Naxian Sphinx, the Statue of Antinoos.
Continue to the picturesque mountain village of Arachova, well known for its local products such as carpets, rugs, cheese, where you’ll have a short stop.  Then continue to
Osios Loucas Monastery, which was built in the 11th century a UNESCO world Heritage Monument. It’s Byzantine cathedral is decorated with splendid mosaics and it is
architecturally one of most important Byzantine monuments in Greece. Return back in Athens and overnight.

Day 7 - Departure: Monastery of Ntaou Pentelis, St. Ephraim’s Monastery- Athens airport.

After breakfast at the hotel, departure for a last tour in Attica, before you reach Athens airport. Starting with a visit of the “Monastery of Ntaou Pendelis” which is founded in
1578. There you’ll see various sacred books and the place where one of the “secret schools” was, where the monks taught children during the Ottoman Empire. Then continue to
Nea Makri and visit St. Ephraim’s Monastery, where his sacred relics are.  Then head to Athens airport for your flight back home.
