Day 1 - BEIJING.

Arrive at Beijing Capital Airport and transfer by sedan to your hotel in Beijing. China’s capital city located in the north, Beijing is a sprawling cultural and political center, as well as a central base to many fascinating sites. Few other Chinese cities offer such a concentrated view of ancient and modern China.

Day 2 - BEIJING.

Today we embark on a full-day tour of Beijing. Tour the incomparable Forbidden City, home to two dynasties spanning 500 years. This architecturally stunning 200-acre compound, with more than 800 buildings and 9,000 rooms, houses a vast collection of imperial treasures and cultural artifacts. Visit Tian'anmen Square, the world's largest public square, and site of Mao Zedong's Mausoleum and the Great Hall of the People. Rounding out the day is a tour of the Hutongs (backstreets of Beijing), and a delicious Peking Duck dinner this evening. Meals Breakfast – Lunch – Dinner

Day 3 - BEIJING.

No visit would be complete without an excursion to see the Great Wall, truly one of the greatest feats of human engineering, stretching nearly 4,000 miles long. Begun in the 7th century B.C., final additions were completed in 16th century A.D. and originally built to keep out invaders of the north. Also visit the Changling (Ming Dynasty) Tomb and "Sacred Way", a seven-kilometer road lined with statues of guardian animals and officials. Meals Breakfast – Lunch

Day 4 - BEIJING.

A full-day tour takes us to the Summer Palace, home to China’s largest imperial garden. We will also tour the Temple of Heaven, a masterpiece of Ming architecture built for imperial sacrifices conducted on the summer and winter solstices, and one of Beijing's grandest attractions. Day 5 - XI'AN.

Fly to Xi'an, an ancient capital of China for eleven dynasties and the starting point of the famed Silk Road. The cradle of Chinese civilization and inhabited since before the Neolithic era, Xi'an lies 35 miles west of the confluence of the Wei and Yellow rivers. In the afternoon tour Big Wild Goose Pagoda, originally built in 652 during the Tang Dynasty. Meals Breakfast - Lunch

Day 6 - XI'AN.

Today embark on a full-day tour of the Provincial Museum displaying more than 2,000 ancient artifacts reflecting the evolution of Chinese civilization. Visit the amazing underground tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang; guarded by more than 7,000 life-size Terra Cotta warriors and horses, the tomb is one of the world's greatest archaeological treasures. Later in the evening, enjoy a memorable Tang Dynasty Dinner and Show. Meals Breakfast – Lunch - Dinner

Day 7 - GUILIN.

Fly to Guilin, known for it's lovely scenery that has inspired poets and painters throughout the years. This afternoon visit Reed Flute Cave, where amazing stone formations of stalactites and stalagmites take on familiar shapes of people, nature, food, and other familiar objects. Meals Breakfast - Lunch


Take a cruise on the Li River today. Wind your way through an amazing landscape of karst topography, where beautiful limestone peaks rise from the green plain at odd angles, and daily life happens along the riverbanks. Visit a local market in Yangshuo; a picturesque town of wonderful shops and restaurants, surrounded by karst mountains and bordering the Li River. Overnight in Yangshuo tonight to further enjoy the town. Meals Breakfast - Lunch


Enjoy a bamboo raft ride on the Yulong River this morning, followed by a 1-hour bicycle ride to explore the countryside. This afternoon fly to Shanghai, China's famous port city and former "Paris of the East". Meals Breakfast - Lunch

Day 10 - SHANGHAI.

A full-day tour of Shanghai takes us to see the famous waterfront “Bund” area, lined with many stately buildings of European architecture from pre-1949. Visits today also include Yu Garden, with its many halls and pavilions, Shanghai Museum, Jade Buddha Temple, and the Xintiandi area. This evening enjoy an acrobatic show after dinner. Meals Breakfast – Lunch - Dinner


Embark on a full-day excursion to neighboring Suzhou, nicknamed "Venice of the East." Visit the Master of the Nets Garden, Humble Administrator's Garden, and take a canal cruise with lunch. Afterwards return to Shanghai and your hotel. Meals Breakfast – Lunch
