On your arrival at Rio de Janeiro’s international airport, your English-speaking guide will meet you and transport you to your hotel. After checking in, you will be taken to the city’s most famous attraction, the massive statue of Christ the Redeemer that stands with arms outstretched atop Corcovado Mountain in the PM, start your Corcovado Tour: You will leave the Hotel and visit the Corcovado mountain which has been Rio’s top attraction widely sung by famous Brazilian composers. The Sugar Loaf, known world over as Rio’s postcard and a must to visit. Since the best time of the day to go up the cable car is later in the day tour will close at the Sugar Loaf. Sugar Loaf is reached on a two-stage cable car ride. This cable car, in operation is of Italian manufacture and takes 80 persons per trip on a 2-minute ride, each stage. The first stage, Morro da Urca - barely 170 mts high, has a restaurant, amphitheater, a helipoint for scenic rides and a privileged view of the Yacht Club and Botafogo Bay. The second stage takes one up to the Sugar Loaf - thus named because of the loaves of sugar that were commonly used by the Portuguese at the time of the discovery of the city. The all-encompassing view of this privileged 270-meter high lookout is unrivaled. This is the only site where one will have a full view of Copacabana beach. In the evening, a night-guide will accompany you to experience Brazilian music and dance at Rio Scenarium. This atmospheric hot spot is a favorite with Brazilians and visitors on Rio de Janeiro tours who love the three floors of entertainment. Live bands play Brazil’s popular music genres, samba and chorinho below, and upstairs, a DJ plays a variety of Brazilian music. Check out at hotel From your hotel, you will be transferred to the airport for your domestic flight to the city of Foz do Iguaçu. Here you will be picked up at the airport and taken to your hotel by your English-speaking driver for two days of Iguazu Falls tours. After check-in and lunch on your own, you will visit the Brazilian Falls. Pick up at the hotel and transfer to Brazilian National Park where guests will get to the marvelous Brazilian falls by walking through the wooden footbridges elevated over the river. During a 40 min walk they will admire the series of astonishing cascades up to the foot of "Floriano Fall" enjoying an unforgettable scenario and also take photographs of the breathtaking panoramic views from the observation deck. At the end of the path there is an elevator, which brings visitors up. The park offers souvenir shops, restaurants, public phones and leisure areas, all of it in a totally revitalized infrastructure. Additional information: Brazilian National Park is opened from Monday to Sunday from 09:00 h to 17:00 h OPTIONAL (Check Optional Tours) "Macuco trail" where guests will embark in open jeep-towed wagons for a 20-minute ride along the trail. The tour continues with a stretch of three kilometers through the jungle, guests will have the opportunity to view Orchids, palm trees, bromeliads, centenarian trees, as well as wild animals that occasionally cross the trail. The second stage, an optional stretch of 600 meters, is a hike on a trail that leads to a waterfall. Next, it is time to board inflatable bi-motor boats, secure and efficient vessels that travel up-river passing the canyon facing the rapids at a speed that permits the appreciation of the scenery. Waterfall shower - Rainbows, blue sky, mist and water in profusion, punctuate the spectacle that has as its high-point the area of the Falls baptized "The Three Musketeers".
