ITINERARY
Day 1 - DEPARTURE USA

Day 2 - ARRIVE IN DUBLIN, IRELAND

Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Your Local Host will come by the hotel this afternoon to welcome you and provide information for your stay. The rest of the day is at leisure to begin exploring on your own.


Day 3 - DUBLIN SIGHTSEEING

See all the highlights of the city on a Hop-On-Hop-Off tour. Entertaining guides will take you to see famous sites such as Christchurch Cathedral, Phoenix Park, Kilmainham Gaol and many more (entrance fees not included). Pick up the tour at more than 20 stops every 15-20 minutes and travel at your own pace. You can stay on the coach or get off as often as you’d like, to see your favorites up close. Afterward, the balance of the day is free to explore more on your own, shop at Arnott’s or the Kilkenny Design Centre, or look for the statue of Molly Malone. (Breakfast)


Day 4 - DUBLIN

A full free day to enjoy Dublin at your own pace. There are a variety of choices for shoppers, art lovers have their pick of museums and galleries, and the gardens and parks offer wonderful venues for a stroll. Your Local Host will also have a selection of optional excursions to choose from. (Breakfast)


Day 5 - DUBLIN / EDINBURGH, SCOTLAND

This morning you will be transferred to the airport for your short flight to Edinburgh (not included in land only price). On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Your friendly Local Host will visit to offer insights and information for your stay. The rest of the day is at leisure. Perhaps wander through the UNESCO-listed Old Town, shop for locally distilled whisky, or tour the grand Royal Yacht Britannia (own expense). (Breakfast)


Day 6 - EDINBURGH SIGHTSEEING

With great views from the open top of the doubledecker bus and an interesting commentary, a Hop-On-Hop-Off tour is one of the best ways to see Edinburgh. There are 24 stops, and the entire route takes about 60 minutes if you don’t get off the coach. But why not disembark at the sites you’d like a closer look at (entrance fees not included). After your tour, the rest of the day is free. (Breakfast)


Day 7 - EDINBURGH

A full day at leisure. Discover more of Edinburgh on an optional excursion suggested by your Local Host, strike out on your own to find your favorite spots in the city, do some last-minute shopping or spring for a round of golf. (Breakfast)


Day 8 - DEPART EDINBURGH

You will be transferred to the airport where your vacation ends. (Breakfast)
