Arrival at the Land of the Pharaohs. Upon completion of immigration & customs formalities at Cairo International Airport, you will be met at the exit by our representative and escorted to your hotel.
After breakfast, drive southwest to the fascinating scenery of the Western desert heading to the Oasis of Baharia, visit Bunty tomb, in Kasr Selim, the Old city of Baharia, visit the museum which includes some of the mummies of the (golden Mummies). After breakfast, visit the Sault Lake, the English Castle, continue to drive south towards to the incredible white desert. On the way, we will visit the Roman water spring, the black Desert and Crystal Mountain, Then to the white desert. Overnight in a Camp in the white desert. Meals: Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner
After breakfast, drive 340 Km to reach the Dakhla oasis passing a nice small oasis called Farafra 35 km before reaching the Dakhla oasis visit the old tombs of Elmozawakka dated to the Greco- roman era then visit the old city of Elqasr which dated to the Islamic era. Overnight in a Hotel. Meals: Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner
After breakfast you will have an opportunity to enjoy a camel trip through the sand dunes to see the sun rise ending beside a nice water spring called Magic Spring. Then continue driving to the largest oasis of Kharga 200 KM. Afternoon lunch, followed by visit to the Christian tombs of Bagawat and temple of Hibis, which is under reconstruction. Overnight in a Hotel. Meals: Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner
After breakfast, early morning drive to Luxor for final departure through Baris Oasis road 310 km. Upon arrival into Luxor you will be transferred to your cruise ship where you will spend the next four nights/five days. Accommodation aboard your cruise ship will consist of outside junior suite cabin with private facilities. Visit the Temple of Karnak & the Temple of Luxor; visit the West Bank including Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Travel by horse-drawn carriage to the Temple of Horus, the falcon-god, considered the best-preserved ancient temple in Egypt and the second largest after the Temple of Karnak. Sail to Kom Ombo where you will visit the Ptolemaic Temple of Sobek and Haroeris. Then sail to Aswan and overnight. Meals: Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner
Visit the Aswan High Dam, the Granite Quarries with the Unfinished Obelisk and the Temple of Philae. Sail on board a felucca, a typical Egyptian sailboat and view Kitchener's Island Botanical garden and the Agha Khan Mausoleum (Entrance is not PERMITTED) . Overnight in Aswan. In the evening, optional Sound & Light Show at Philae Temple. Meals: Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner
After breakfast, disembarkation, transfer to Aswan airport for your flight back to Cairo. Or you may participate in an optional tour to Abu Simbel visit the colossal Temple of Ramses II and the Temple of his beloved Queen Nefertari, both temples carved out of a hillside beside the Nile in the 13th century BC. Transfer back to the airport for your flight to Cairo, upon arrival you will be escorted to your hotel. In the evening, optional Sound & Light Show at the Pyramids. Meals: Breakfast
Morning visit to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities which includes the world's largest collection of Pharaonic artifacts and the treasures of Tutankhamen's tomb. Then drive to Old Cairo where early Judaism & Christianity flourished and visit Al Moallaka Church (Hanging Church) and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Stop for lunch, afternoon visit to the Great Pyramids of Giza and the enigmatic Sphinx, then proceed to Khan El Khalili, the world's largest 13th century covered oriental bazaar, overnight in Cairo.
