Tuesday July 18: Departure from JFK on board EGYPTAIR flight (For Air & Land option)

Today you will board yournonstop EGYPTAIR MS 986international flight to start your Journey towards the Land of the Pharaohs. (For participants who booked the Air & Land package)

Wednesday July 19: Cairo – Arrival Cairo

Upon your arrival to Cairo you will be met by our representative and transferred to your Hotel for check in.

Rest of the day at leisure for independent activities.

Welcome Dinner & Overnight at the hotel. (D)

Thursday July 20: Cairo - Aswan - Cruise

Morning flight to Aswan. Upon arrival you will be met &escorted to your cruise ship where you will spend the next 3 nights / 4 days on 5* Emilio Nile Cruise. Accommodation aboard your cruise ship will consist of outside junior suite cabin with private facilities. You will visit the High Dam, the Granite Quarries with the Unfinished Obelisk and the Temple of Philae. View Kitchener’s Island botanical garden and the Agha Khan Mausoleum by felucca (Entrance is not PERMITTED). Sail to Kom Ombo and overnight. (B, L, D)

Friday July 21: KOMOMBO - EDFU - ESNA - LUXOR

Visit the Ptolemaic Temple of Sobek&Haroeries. Then sail to Edfu. Travel by horse-drawn carriage to the Temple of Horus, the falcon-god, (237 B.C.) considered the best-preserved temple in Ancient Egypt and the second largest after the Temple of Karnak. Sail to Esna, passing through the Esna Lock, and continue sailing towards Luxor and overnight. (B, L, D)

Saturday July 22: LUXOR

Visit the West Bank necropolis including the Valley of the Kings, the Funerary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon. Overnight in Luxor.(B, L, D)

Sunday July 23: Luxor - Hurghada

After breakfast, visit Karnak and Luxor Temples, a centuries-old city of pylons, hypostyle halls, colossal statues, shrines and obelisks.
After disembarkation, you will visit the Shayeb Monastery and Mazar El AnbaWanas.
Later, you will be transferred by private air conditioned vehicle to Hurghada
Upon arrival to your hotel, check in and overnight (B, D)

Monday July 24: Hurghada (Optional Red Sea Monasteries Visit)

This day is free at leisure at the hotel or to do some option excursions

Wednesday July 26: Hurghada – Red Sea Monasteries – Cairo (Optional extension to Alexandrtia)

After breakfast, transfer to Red Sea monasteries.
Visit Monasteries of St. Antonios & St. Pavli

Transfer to Hurghada airport for your flight back to Cairo.
Upon arrival to Cairo airport, you will be assisted and transferred to yourHotel & Overnight. (B)

Thursday July 27: Full Day Old Cairo & Khan El Khalili Bazaar

After breakfast, start exploring ancient Egypt with a visit to Old Coptic Cairo (Abu Sefien church, Hanging Church, Abu Serga Church & Ben Ezra Synagogue).
Stop for lunch at a local restaurant than proceed to Khan El Khalili bazaar. (Stop at St. Mary Tree in Matareya and Samaan El Kharaz cave if time permits)
After the tour, return back to the hotel and overnight. (B, L)

Friday July 28 : Wadi El Natroun Monasteries - Cairo

After breakfast, transfer to Wadi El Natroun.
Arrive to Wadi El Natroun and visit Monasteries El Baramous, El Syrian &AnbaBishoy.

Farewell dinner on Pharaoh Nile Cruise in Cairo including Folkloric Show.
Back to Cairo hotel & overnight (B, D)

Saturday July 29: Departure (For Air & Land option)

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and you will be transferred to Cairo International airport for your return flighton MS 985 EGYPTAIR flight to JFK (B) (For participants who booked the Air & Land package)
